Two weekends a year we open our doors for a few days of camaraderie, Knifemaking and fun. These events are a great opportunity to bring community and manufacturer together to give insight on what we do here on a daily basis.

  • Event Outline
  • Early Arrivals – Can pull blades & materials for the weekend. If production allows you may even be able to start your build.
  • Friday Evening – Official Meet & Greet. Vary Casual with Dinner Provided.
  • Saturday – 9AM – Mandatory Safety Meeting – Build to follow
  • Noon – 45 Min Break for lunch (Provided)
  • All knives should be finished by 5pm.
  • 6PM – Banquet catered by Bark River Knives, with Awards & Raffles to follow. BYOB
  • Sunday – 9AM – More Knife Building & Additional Knives finished

Any Knives not finished during the weekend can be finished out and shipped at no additional cost.

Event cost is $475.00 for the first knife built with Standard Materials, (Micarta G-10 Straight Pins) All other Parts & Materials will incur upgraded costs. All upgrades are posted during Events. With increased cost we will be asking for a deposit to hold you spot, cover food costs and these basic materials.

We are lucky to be located near the Hiawatha National Forest with tons of campgrounds and RV parks in a close area. If you are looking to camp, here are a few locations.

Various Large stores, restaurants, gas stations & vehicle servicing locations are nearby.
